We are proud to say that Events Etc. is owned by a brother-sister team each with different backgrounds that support our overall ability.  While both Sara and Steven have had many wonderful opportunities in life, here is a short overview about each.

Steven Stokes 

For Steven it seemed natural to start his own event company, he has 15 years of experience, and has planned over 300 events. After college Steven traveled with the International Education company Up with People planning events in the US, Canada, and Europe. Steven has also worked for the Colorado Lottery, the Olympics/Paralympics in Salt Lake City, and the City of Northglenn. Five years ago he began teaching event planning classes at Arapahoe Community College and helped them design the Event Management Certificate Program. Steven also has a commitment to the community and is a Board Member for the Northglenn Thornton Rotary Club, Socially Conscious Coffee, and the Colorado Festival Events Association.

Sara Crowe

Creative, innovative, and friendly are words used to describe Sara. Since childhood she’s enjoyed planning and executing parties and events. She’s planned birthday parties for kids and adults, retirement shin-digs, non-profit community service days for high school students, and large scale events. Sara has 15 years of teaching experience with a Masters Degree in Creative Arts and Learning.
